Abstract     In a complex rehabilitation of patients after brain injury the neuropsychological component has its justification too. This means, that members of rehabilitation team are taking into consideration the cognitive functions changes, the communication, the feelings and behaviour. In the frame of rehabilitation is hence very important multidisciplinary approach (apparent border between individual divisions) and transdisciplinary approach (uncertain, overlapping border between divisions). Important programme of complex rehabilitation is cognitive schooling, which stimulates the cognitive funtions reparing. It is assembled according to actual state of individual patients and is individually carried. Special position has gognitive schooling done in the group. Patient has a opportunity to compare his abilities with the others, to appreciate objectively the troubles after the injury and its importance for everyday life, to reduce emotional stress, to share with his experiences. This programme completes other parts of cognitive scholling and already 7 years is component of complex rehabilitation of patients after traumatic damage.
