Abstract     The research is based on the theoretical starting point of existential analysis, resp. logotherapy, the author of which is Viktor E. Frankl. With this research we wanted to find out to what extent the meaning of the life of pre-school teachers is fulfilled. The fulfilment of this meaning is a good basis for the mental health, positive relations towards life, and a meaningful orientation which brings existential security or, by contrast life is endangered, which leads to existential frustration, an "existential vacuum", and in the end to a life without meaning. In the first part of the empirical research we tried to define the structure of variables that measure the feelings of the meaning of life, as well as some other relevant personality variables. We also tried, with the help of corresponding statistic analyses, to define the differences which appear due to the logotherapeutical treatment. The next question we were interested in was connection of the Logo-test and its items with the experimental population groups, their age and educational level. All these connections are statistically important. In the scond part of the research a five-year logotherapeutical treatment is described.
