Abstract | The global mathematical descriptions for linear and nonlinear systems representing the two major classes in the system theory are investigated first. Chaotic systems are a subclass of nonlinear systems. Experimental methods based on chaos theory used in bio-medical sciences are discussed next. Chaotic data analysis methods are still being developed, therefore many different methods can be found. Biosciences are very promising area for chaos theory applications. | |
Summary | Članek je v prvem delu posvečen splošnim matematičnim opisom sistemov. Najprej linearnih in potem nelinearnih, katerih posebna podzvrst so kaotični sistemi. V drugem delu članka pa je podanih nekaj metod za matematično obravnavo linearnih sistemov, za katere predvidevamo, da so kaotični. Analiza je bolj v začetni fazi razvoja, zato obstaja veliko število bolj ali manj uporabnih metod. Bio-medicinske znanosti so zagotovo področje, kjer bodo metode teorije kaosa našle svoj prostor. | |
