| Abstract | The paper deals with the evaluation of stroke patients. Elements, relating to the functional abilities and quality of locomotion are included. Assessment of range of motion (R.O.M.), mobility, motor control, muscle tone, somatosensory defficit, reflex activity, postural reactions, gait anomalies and presence of pain is described. Evaluation of the impairments and disabilities is the basis for establishing the goals, planning the treatment program and monitoring of recovery achieved. | |
