Abstract		Though the impact of hemispheric specialisation of perceptual and cognitive functions on coping with disability potential, especially in hemiplegia, is obvious, it has not been receiving sufficient consideration in preparation and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans. Consequently, there is a need, taking into account the structural-adaptive model of learning, to evaluate the kind and the level of cognitive disfunctions, and to relate them with specialisaiton of hemispheric functions in order to set up adequate rehabilitation goals and methods. An idea of such procedure is presented.
