Abstract		The author presents her experience with hemiplegics whom she has been dealing with for the last 17 years. She outlines the speech and language disorders such as observed in persons with an impairment of the central nervous systems. Special attention is given to the development of communication in children suffering from the disorder of the sensoriomotor system, early treatment of the latter, the importance of the team work in rehabilitation.
