Abstract		The music could be described as the language of emotions. However, the understanding of the neurocognitive bases of musical perception is still not well understood. New investigations and the development of imaging techniques, revealed some new discoveries, like the anatomical localization of perfect pitch, which seems to be the result of both, environmental impact and psychological patricularities. Some clinical cases of amusia or other disturbances of music perception are described, as well as the one of Maurice Ravel. Finally the question is raised if a musical genitus is born, or a result of endowment and laborious training.
Summary		Glasbo lahko označimo kot govorico čustev, vendar pa je v razumevanju glasbene percepcije marsikaj neznanega. Novejše raziskave, predvsem pa razvoj slikovnih metod, so omogočile presenetljiva odkritja, kot na primer lokalizacijo absolutnega posluha. Slednji se zdi v manjši meri prirojen, v večji meri pa najbrž pridobljen. Opisani so nekateri klinični primeri izolirane amuzije in drugih motenj različnih kvalitet zaznavanja glasbe, kot tudi možgansko bolezen Mauricea Ravela, združeno v amuzijo. Slednjič še postavlja vprašanje, ali so tako imenovani čudežni otroci rezultat prirojene glasbene genialnosti ali trdega dela.
