Abstract		The suitability of evolved gas analysis (EGA) for screening various wastes to determine the gaseous products that evolve during pyrolysis or incineration of a sample was tested. The data thus obtained could be used for selecting the appropriate incineration/pyrolysis conditions and for designing of the flue gas treatment.
