| Abstract | In this work the occurance of a heart and coronary diseases with emphasis on high blood pressure (HBP) in SR Slovenia is fully discussed. Dtes are analysed for a period from 1975 to 1984. A brief overview of some previous studies concerning heart and coronary diseases and of HBP, made in Yugoslavia and abroad is presented too. HBP is one of those phenomena which accompany so - called "behavioral diseases". These are diseases which results from an unhealthy way of life. Health care education is of great importance to prevention and to early detection as well as to treatment itself and to rehabilitating patients with HBP. Some possibilities of health care educational aproaches at HBP are specified. | |
