Abstract     A digital LQG controller for the ankle plantarflexors has been disigned and tested on a model and an intact human. Parametric linear indentification, reference tracking and disturbance rejection tests of the controller were done in the Wobbler apparatus. In servo and disturbance rejection tests, experiment and simulations were in good agreement.
