Abstract		The authors discuss preparation of child for operation. The balance of energetic state, substitution of fluids and electrolites and infections are described. The advices for determination the time of operation for different congenital defects are given as well as the extinction of necessary examinations and tests. The importance of cooperation between pediatrician in basic health service and physicians hospitals is emphasized. Longer specialistic circulation on departments for pediatric surgery is suggested.
