Abstract		The purpose of this tudy was to analyze - on the basis of a defined index of sagittal curvature of the spine - the state of sagittal curvature of thoracic and lumbar part of the spine in 11- and 13-year old girls and boys. The sample comprised of 131 girls and 121 boys, aged 11, and of 147 girls and 145, aged 13. Sagittal curvature of the spine was measured with the cobra instruments, in thoracic and lumbar part separately. On the basis of the analysis of the results obtained it can concluded that with these age groups, the number of postural faults deacreases with growth.
