Abstract		Background: Skin prick tests are in connection with allergologic history simple and usable method in atopic type of allergies. Postgraduate education in clinical allergology has to be assured for attaining correct results of this diagnostic procedure. Methods: Guidelines and algorithms of skin prick tests performance and evaluation are described. Conclusions: Correctly performed and evaluated skin prick tests are the key method in the diagnosis of allergic and pseudoallergic disorders, i.e. hypersensitivies of immediate type.
