Abstract		The authors as the general practicioner has a longlasting experience in less developed community of Šentjur (near Celje). The people in that surroundings is less educated and less conscious than the everage is. About 12% of adults have drinking habit of alcohol and the problem still remain actual (winegrowing region). Around 1960 the population up to 60% vere peasants and strip farmers, 20% living without electricity and 60% without drinking water in homes. Since that time the changes are significant. The peasants dont produce food without use of the chemicals. They live in polluted air and traffic is quite developed. Use of drinking water increased from 30 to 150 liters per capita, many of them have washing and other machines, therefore the quantity of water rise and adequate is the eutrophication of Slivnica lake. The physician criticizes the improovement of the course of rivers and streams, and new road system too. He is expressing other discoveries about a care for human health.
