Abstract		The body composition parameters were calculated and the body composition assessment of Ljubljana boys and girls in schoolyear 1994/95 was made on the basis of the five measured body parameters of 14 - years old teenagers. The semple contains 39 boys and 34 girls. The physical and the body composition parameters were being treated statistically according to both sexes. A comparison was made between the children of the 1981/82 and the 1994/95 generations. There were certain differences between the sexes that showed out. As for the skin fold thickness the gires have acheved higher values but as for the body height the boys surpassed the girls. The muscle parameters are better developed with the boys than with the girls, but the fat parameters showed higher values for the girls. The generation comparison showed statistical significance for the body measures and the body composition parameters for the boys. But the difference was not as significant for the girls. The secular trend can be noticed only with the muscle parameters of the boys, other parameters do not show statistically important difference.
