Abstract		Reconstructive surgery as essential part of modern veterinary medicine is relatively young speciality, which develops rapidly and bares an important part of soft tissue surgery within small animal practice. The term reconstructive surgery includes surgical approaches to the therapy of accidental wounds, major tissue deffects after tumor excisions as well as other cinditions whith the goal to reestablish the functional and morphological integritiy of organs, organ systems and generaloutlook of the patient treated.
