Abstract		There are about 1 permill blind and low-vision individuals in Sloveia, 8% of them are children (0-16 y.), or < 30/100.000 children. it is our aim to integrate them completely into everyday life, therefore it is essential to recognize eventually treatable ophthalmic or pediatric disorders as soon as possible. Organization of the state's blind and low-vision school with its mobile group and its rehabilitation methods are presented. About 50% of their pupils can be integrated into regular educational school programs yearly.
