Abstract     Brief presentations are given of the fields of communication and research into it, of mass communication and mass media, of the media and their function (application), specially of TV, of media research in addition to the presentations of the two comprehensive studies, made by the authors of the actual article: 1/ a/Market analysis of TV media (representative sample of the principal slovene regional centres (n = 840 of inhabitans) and b/ of the 140 directors of the marketing departments (140 slovene firms). - 2/ Second research embraced a sample of inhabitants of Ljubljana (capital of Slovenia), aged from 25 to 35 years, with high school education or more. Market analysis of the possibilities for media education and counselling has been realized.
