Abstract | Multichannel measurement of human bioelectric signals requires a specially designed acquisition unit. The unit is comprised of 64 low noise amplifiers, an analog multiplexer, 14-bit A/D converter with 1kHz sampling rate per channel andserial transmission of data through an optical fibre. The number of channels can be expanded up to 128. It is shown, that low power operation and very good overallperformances can be achieved at the same time. | |
