Abstract | The Multichannel ECG (MECG) is an important instrumentation for both experimental and clinical electrophysiology. Software designissues for a 128-channel ECG with 14-bits A/D conversion, 1 kHz/channel sampling rate, 100 second resording time, and optical connection to a standard personal computer are described. Data I/O DMA capabilities were used to receive and store large data streams. The basic analysis and presentation of the acquired ECG signals are also given, as well further applications, such as body surface andepicardial mapping are foreseen. | |
