Abstract		One of the most recent methods for the assessment of the condition of a fetus - the assessment of flow velocity waveform with Doppler ultrasonography - has in the last 15 years developed remarkably. Great interest of researchers on this domain has yielded excellent results, and so Doppler measurement of blood flow in a. umbilicalis is nowadays accepted as an approved and useful method for the control of pregnancies at risk.
Summary		Ena najmlajših metod za ocenjevanje stanja ploda - ocenjevanje pretoka krvi z ultrazvočno doplersko metodo - je v zadnjih 15 letih doživela nesluten razvoj. Veliko zanimanje raziskovalcev za to področje je dalo odlične rezultate. Tako je danes doplerska meritev pretoka v popkovnični arteriji sprejeta kot dokazano koristna metoda za nadzor tveganih nosečnosti.
