Abstract | In attempting to determine the nature of diseases in tissue or organs (benign/malignant), macroscopic examinations are inherently limited (possibility of error), which is not a consequence of the ability of the examiner. It is therefore not advisable to make inferences on the nature of the process solely on the basis of macroscopically visible changes; it is necessary toobtain a clinical impression through pathological examination. | |
