Abstract		Twelve consecutive children and adolescents (mean age = 12 years 3 months) were diagnosed as narcoleptics, with only one of the group presenting the narcoleptic tetrad. 2/12 presented a precocious puberty associated with Narcolepsy: main clinical symptoms and sleep data were not different fromtherest of the group. Schooling and behavioral difficulties were extremely important. Narcolepsy in children and adolescents has to be early recognised, children and adolescents needing educational and psychological support as well as awaking medication.
