Abstract     This paper aims at extending the number of parameters analysed in Visual Evoked Potentials, in order to increase the contribution of this test in the diagnosis of demyelinative diseases. This study analysed, by FFT, the spectrum of frequency between 3 and 30 Hz, on the interval 40 - 296 ms after the light stimulus used in Visual Evoked Potentials. We remarked that the area of the frequency spectrum in patients with multiple sclerosis decreases, compared to normal, this modification being highly significant statistically.
