Abstract     The study material comprised four children (3 boys and 1 girl) with pattern sensitive epilepsy. All had a history of seizures during different visual geometric stimuli (TV screens, checkered curtains, computer games) and showed posterior spikes and theta waves on resting EEG. Photic stimulation with IPS provoked only "minor" abnormalities (type 1 and 2), but stimulation enriched IPS (own method) with geometric patterns elicited PPR (type 4). The enriched IPS method has proved useful in assessment of children photosensitivity.
