Abstract     Otoacoustic emissions are acoustic signals coming from the inner ear. They can be recorded in the outer ear canal. In the last years, evidence was found that clickevoked otoacoustic emissions recorded from one ear during contralateral stimulation (CAS) by means of noise show a reduction in amplitude. Aim of this paper is to study the effect of white noise contralateral stimulation on click-evoked otoacoustic emissions recorded from 38 ears. Moreover, the relation between the effect of white noise contralateral stimulation and latency of the reponse is also investigated.
