Abstract     In JUly pollen of nettle family, grass, sweet chestnut and polatian was continuously in the air. The pollen of mugwort and Chenopoidanceae appeared in the second decade of July. The grass pollen counts were low, only on July, 1st exceeded 25 pollen grains per m3 of the air. The maximum concentration of sweet chestnut pollen was reached already on June, 28th. On the first three days of July the counts were still high, than the counts decreased. 45 % of total airborne pollen in July belongs to the nettle family. The highest counts were reached on July, 25th, 135 pollen grains/m3. The counts of the plantain and Chenopodiaceae pollen were low, below 10 pollen graints/m3. The mugwort pollen started to apear on July, 17th. The highest concentration was reached on July, 30th, 20 pollen grains/m3 of the air. Precipitation was the most important meteorological parameter influencing pollen concentration in July. As an example distribution of pollen grains in two hour intervals in the period 13-15 July is presented on figure 6.7., on the figure 6.8. precipitation and temperature for the same period are shown.
