Abstract     Radiologic evaluation of the urinary bladdr has undergone progressive changes as a consequence of rapid technologic advances. Sonography (US) and CT scanning have improved the demonstration of bladder abnormalities. CT and US are limited in their abilities to differentiate bladder tumors. CT is a valuable tool because it allows determination of extravesical tumor extension and presence of metastatic enlarged lymph nodes. MR imaging is the most accurate tehnique for differentiating the various stages of deeper infiltrating tumors.
