Abstract     My work is related to the method of medical treatment of torn Achilles tendon. 46 patients have been teated under this method, majority were men 93% (43 patients), women 0,007% (3 patients). Age structure is covered under decades 20-30-50 years. In most cases left legs were injured (33) and such injuries were shown. Majority of patients did not have any difficulties prior to an injury. All patients have stressed that they did not pay any attention to stretching of tendon for sports activities. Majority of injuries occured at the begining of sports events (football, basketball, tenis, badminton). Two of injured were treated with corticosteroid injections prior to injury. Thomson-Simonds test was positive for all patients, sonographic examination was made for all and diagnosis was approved. Majority was operated (85% in the first five days). Hospitalization was on an average one and a half day which shown that everything was done in ambulance. Subcutenous stich was made in the same manner for all injured persons (one author). Imobilization was in the most cases 6 weeks, only in a rare exaples up to 8 weeks. Rehabilitation started at once, after taking off plaster with a direct burdening of injured leg and usage of one crutch. Two renew tearing of tendon of non - critical patients (second day after taking off plaster - jump into a swimming pool, second case - fall down stairs) and in both cases operative treatment in the same manner was performed with an excellent results. Two patients complained about swelling of leg and temporary tumefaction (swelling was los after cryo massage and lymph drainage). Other complications were not present. The results show complete flexibility of an ankle. The wolume and strenght of three-head muscle is obtained with a rapid restitution of all prior activities (medical treatment and rehabilitation on an average of 3-4 months offer a justified hope and efficiency of a new method of medical treatment).
