Abstract     Optical sensors enable non-invasive continuous recordings of blood flow. We present analyses of peripheral blood flow signals in the time-frequency domain, obtained by the wavelet transform. Dynamic properties of the processes involved in the regulation of blood flow through the cardiovascular system are characterised. it is shown that these properties are changed after myocardial infartion.
