Abstract		In an isolation we infected 17-days old chickens with S. enteritidis. We treated them with Enroxil 10% Krka and with a comparative drug, which also contained enrofloxacin. In spite of peroral dose of 10 power on 9 CFU. chickens remained healthy, although the infection was sussceccful. Chirckens were monitored till the day 14 after the treatment, when no salmonella was found. We also compared different kinds of samples (liver, cloacal swabs and caeca), of which salmonellae were isolated most frecquently from caeca. We also compared three media: Rambach agar (R), brilliant green agar (NG) and Wilson Blaire (WB) agar. We isolated salmonellae only on the Rambach agar, but we had to check also for salmonellae nontypical colonies.
