The samples were taken aseptically after teat end disinfection with disposable disinfectant wipes and refrigerated at 5 degrees C until culture. They were afterwards cultured on blood and Sabouraud decstrose agar (SDA). The final diagnosis was established regarding to the results of the API 20 C and API 20 C AUX (Bio Merieux) sistems.
