Abstract     Microbiologicaly contaminated food can cause alimentary diseases in man. Lately, some pathogenic bacteria such as L. monocytogenes and enterohaemorrhagic E. coli which in the past were not problematic, appear as contaminants in food. For this reason and to adjust our legislation to the legislation of EU, our regulation, regarding the bacteriological criteria of food, had to be rewritten.
