Abstract		The paper focuses on the assumption of linear dependence between the outcome orit's transformation, and the independent variables, which is the basic assumption in most regression models used in practice. it is shown that these models are in a sense similar, and that the assumption of linearity can be satisfactory dealt with using splines.
