Abstract     About 13% of the patients with an upper limb amputation at the clinic for prosthetics and orthotics at the Institute for Rehabilitation, Republic of Slovenia, have a partial hand or finger amputation. Most of them decide for an esthetic prosthesis, therefore a technology for making esthetic silicon prostheses and 24 fingers. Each prosthesis was made individually, by means of a model, Skin and nail hues were chosen individually. Hair was implanted to male patients.
