Abstract		The dielectric constant epsilon' and specific conductivity sigma were measured on dentine samples whose inner and outer surfaces were exposed to an aqueous solution of silver nitrate with an applied DC voltage of 0, 20, 40 and -40 V. The measuring voltage was 300 mV. The results show a direct influence of the current on the penetration of silver into dentinal tubules.
