Abstract     Assessment of seriousness of patient's condition is of great importance especially in emergency medicine. Correct and effective treatment depends on it and most often determines the outcome. Various scoring system, developed all over the world, enable more relevant and comparable measurements and help physican to make the decision not only on subjective impression. Besides that, a comparison of standardized groups of patients becomes possible by using of scoring system. Three scoring systems, which have become to be used in emergency medical services in Slovenia, are presented in detail: Glasgow coma scale (GCS), Revised trauma score (RTS) and Mainz emergency evaluation score (MEES).
Summary     Ocenjevanje prizadetosti in ogroženosti bolnika je prav v urgentni medicini posebej pomembno. Podrobneje so predstavljene tri ocenjevalne lestvice: Glasgowska lestvica kome (GCS), revidirana poškodbena lestvica (RTS) in ocenjevalna lestvica Mainz (MEES). Uporabljati jih pričenjamo tudi v Sloveniji.
