Abstract     Physicians of emergency medical service in Ljubljana perform, besides nearly 25.000 examinations in outpatient clinics and 8.000 visits on patients home, 2.500 emergency inerventions with ambulance per year. Reanimation is performed around 150-times yearly. Each field intervention has its characteristics which have to be perceived and taken into consideration. Complications are the constituent part of nearly all the interventions. Their frequency and degree of difficulty increase nearly exponentially with the number of ill or injured persons reps. with the severity of their illness or injuries and are inversely proportioned with the expertness of paramedics.
Njihova pogostnost in težavnost skoraj eksponentno naraščata s številom oziroma stopnjo prizadetosti bolnikov ali ponesrečencev in sta obratno sorazmerni z izkušenostjo reševalcev.
