Abstract     Ambulatory 24 hour non-invasive measurement of blood pressure ABPM (ambulatory blood pressure monitoring) is an established blood pressure monitoring) is an established method with adults, which has some distinct advantages. This method should also be used for children. It remains unclear which of the characteristics of ABPM indicate complications with hypertension and cardiovascular disorders.
Summary     Ambulantno 24-urno neinvazivno merjenje krvnega tlaka ABPM (ambulatory blood pressure monitoring) je pri odraslih že povsem uveljavljena metoda, ki ima nekatere izrazite prednosti. To metodo bi morali uporabljati tudi pri otrocih. Zanekrat še ni jasno, katere značilnosti ABPM napovedujejo zaplete hipertenzije in zbolevanje za srčnožilnimi boleznimi.
