Abstract		After comparing two identical groups of fifty patients treated at Valdoltra between 1983 and 1991 for idiopathic scoliosis type king III, one group by Harrington's method and the other by the Contrel - Dubousset method, we obtained the results shown in the diagrams, which indicate better clinical as well as X-ray correction after an operation by the Contrel - Dubousset method.
Summary		Primerjali smo dv enaki skupini petdesetih bolnikov, operiranih v Valdoltri od leta 1983 do 1991, zaradi idiopatične skolioze, tipa King III. Prvoskupino smo operirali po harringtonovi (HA) metodi, drugo po Contrel-Duboussetovi (C-D) in prišli do rezultatov, ki smo jih prikazali na diagramih, iz katerih je razvidna boljša, tako klinična kot rentgenološka korekcija z operacijo po Contrel-Duboussetovi (C-D) metodi.
