Abstract		It is very difficult to assess the body posture in chifdren (physiological curvature of the spine) visually and decide whether the posture is normal or bad. The number of malformations and deficiencies caused by sagittal curvature of the spine is very high with schoolchildren and the youth (Štrukelj-Brcar, Džananovič,1995). Practice and literature show that researchers use different methods (objective and subjective) when measuring sagittal curvature of the spine. Presented in the article is the methodology of measurement and calculation of the degree of sagital curvature of the spine with the "Cobra" instrument. The author also indicates the applicability of the instrument in everyday practice.
