Abstract		The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of the concentration of anticoagulant K3EDTA on CBC (complete blood count) in bulls. The work has been done with the blood of thirty bright spotted breed bulls. After the seizure, the blood of each animal was put in three tubes. The final concentrations of K3EDTA were 1, 1.8 and 5.4 mg/mL of blood. CBC was determined by Bayer Technicon H*1, which is used for CBC and WBC differential determination in human and some animals. The presence ofplatelet clumps were determined by blood smears examination. Comparing the concentration of K3EDTA, 5.4 and 1.8 mg/mL of blood, significantly lower (P<0.05) platelet number was found in blood samples with 5.4 mg K3EDTA/mL of blood. Platelet clumping was detected in ten examinated smears with 5.4 mg K3EDTA/mL of blood.
