Abstract		Doppler ultrasonography provides a non-invasive method forassessing changes in cerebralblood flow. The method is used to complete head ultrasound evaluation by providing different parameters: the systolic peak velocity, the diastolic peakvelocity, the mean velocity, and the resistance index. The most common clinical application of the method is evaluation of cerebral blood flow in neonates.
Summary		Ultrazvočna preiskava z doplersko tehniko je neinvazivna metoda za oceno možganskega krvnega obtoka. S tometodo dopolnimo ultrazvočni pregled glave inpridobimo informacije o maksimalni hitrosti pretoka med sistolo in diastolo, povprečno hitrost pretoka ter vrednost rezistenčnega indeksa. Najpogosteje uporabimo to metodo za ocenjevanje možganske hemodinamike pri novorojenčkih.
