Abstract		Within the framework of the National health plan up to the year 2000 there is also a programme for managing children and teenagers with developmental disorders. The emphasis is on the so called developmental outpatient clinics. Being part of the general health programme they represent a specialised discipline. Members of such teams as well as their responsibilities at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels are defined in this document. The nature of their work should be in groups, health personnel working together with the educational and social workers. Special educational programmes for paediatricians and for the developmental neurological therapists were developed. The developmental outpatient clinic teams are not satisfactorily devised and their work is not adequately ranked and financed yet.
Summary		V okviru Načrta zdravstvenega varstva Republike Slovenije do leta 2000 je pripravljen program za obravnavo otrok in mladostnikov z razvojnimi motnjami. Glavnino dela izvajajo razvojne ambulante, ki predstavljajo specialistično dejavnost v osnovnem zdravstvu. Določena je njihova kadrovska sestava in normativi ter opredeljena delitev dela med primamim, sekundamim in terciarnim nivojem. Način dela je timski, pri celostni obravnavi se razvojne ambulante povezujejo s pedagoško in socialno službo. Pripravljeni so programi za usposabljanje pediatrov in razvojno-nevroloških terapevtov, ki se že izvajajo.
