Abstract | Brown's syndrome is a rare clinical disorder of ocular motility (1 case of Brown's syndrome is diagnosed per 450 cases of strabismus in USA), manifesting most notably a restriction of passive and active elevation in adduction. The article is a case report of a 7 year old girl with diplopia, restriction of right eye elevation in adduction and apparent ocular protrusion with normal visual acuity. After eliminating inflammation aetiology, expansive process, rheumatic disease and right orbital injury we can state with high probability, that she has congenital Brown's syndrome. | |
