Abstract		Background. A study of whole one year population of children (995), suffering of allergic diseases, was made because of ever-growing number of allergic diseases, seen in last years. The study comprised inpatients and outpatients of Pediatric Ward of General Hospital in Jesenice. Conclusions. History, clinical picture, prick tests and levels of whole and specific IgE helped us to find out that the: 1 most frequent allergic disease is asthma; 2. most frequent allergen with positive prick test is mite in house dust; 3. most frequent disease with elevated whole serum IgE and elevated specific dust mite - IgE is allergic rhinitis; 4. most frequent disease with elevated specific pollen IgE is allergic conjunctivitis; 5. most frequent disease with elevated specific bee or wasp poison IgE is anaphylaxis (anaphylactic reaction of third degree).
Summary		Izhodišča. prikazali smo populacijo (995) otrok, starih do 18 let, ki so bili zaradi alergijskih bolezni leta 1994 napoteni zaradi diagnosticiranja na otroški oddelek in v otroško ambulanto Splošne bolnišnice na Jesenicah. Zaključki. Na podlagi anamneze, telesnega pregleda, kožnih vbodnih testov alergije ter celokupnih in specifičnih protiteles IgE v serumu smo ugotovili, da je najpobostejša alergijska bolezen astma, najpogostejši alergen po kožnih vbodnih testih alergije in specifičnih IgE pa pršica. Najpogostejša bolezen s povišanimi celokupnimi IgE in specifičnimi IgE za pršico je alergijski rinitis, najpogostejša bolezen s povišanimi specifičnimi IgE za pelode alergijski konjunktivitis, najpogostejša oblika preobčutljivostne reakcije s povišanimi specifičnimi IgE za čebelji oziroma osji strup pa anafilaksa (anafilaktična reakcija tretje stopnje).
