Abstract		After the operation of the first cohlear implant in Slovenia tendences to educate professional workers and to encourage the cooperation beetwen the medical and defectological brancg have been indicated. it was necessery to make defectological doctrine of how to rehabilitate deaf persons with the cohlear implant and to make a test for evaluation of deaf child's operation. The test should grups deaf children as more or less appropriate candidates for the operation. It is in the procedure of making. It will also be urgent to make tests for evaluation and observation of progress of rehabilitated deaf persons after the operation.
