Abstract		The authors present the treatment of missiiile wounds, which can be preduced by either high-velocity or low-velocity missiles. The basic treatment of missile injuries involves management of soft tissues with debridement of necrotic mass, reduction of fracture and antibiotic prophylaxis. Generally, there are no important differences in injury treatment between different parts of the body, with the exception of abdominal and chest wounds that require specific surgical management and antibiotic support.
