| Abstract | The list of species from eight ponds in southem Austrian Styria is given. Some new localities of rare species have been found - Batrachium circinatum, Carex bohemica, Nymphoides peltata, Peucedanum palustre, Rumex maritimus, Scirpus radicans, Trapa natans, Typha angustifolia, Veronica scutellata - and some previously known species have been recorded again. Some communities, mainly from the clases Isoeto-nanojuncetea and phragmiti-Magnocaricetea, are described; two of them - Scripetum radicantis and leersietum oryzoidis, are rare in Austria. | |
