| Abstract | The vegetation of the Jovsi flood plain beside the Sotla River east of Brežice is described. Aquatic, swamp, and grassland vegetation dominate, and fragments of forest are limited to strips along ditches and streams. Eighteen communicaties are discussed. A new habitat of the Lemno-Spirodeletum polyrrhizae subass. wolfietosum arrhizae community very rare in Slovenia, has been identified. | |
